Answer:

31/84

Explanation:

3/4 − 1/2 ( 1/3 + 3/7 )

1/3 + 3/7

Lcm: 21

(7 + 3(3))/21 = 16/21

1/2(16/21) = 8/21

3/4 - 8/21

Lcm: 84

(3(21) - 8(4))/84

(63 - 32)/84

31/84

Answer: 31/84

Explanation:

Always do parentheses first: (1/3 + 3/7) = 7/21 + 9/21 = 16/21

Then you use PEMDAS to figure out that multipication is the next thing we would do: 1/2(16/21) = 16/42

Lastly, you would do the subtraction part: 3/4 - 16/42

the common denominator is 84

63/84 - 32/84 = 31/84

Your final answer is 31/84
