A random sample of 8 observations from another population revealed a sample mean of 26 and a sample standard deviation of 5. T-Test of difference = 0 (vs ?): T-Value = -1.42 P-Value = 0.176 DF = 16

Both use Pooled StDev = 4.4651

since p-value = 0.176 > 0.05

Therefore at 0.05 significant level we fail to reject the null hypothesis
