Heya !

Given two points A ( 8 , -4 ) and B ( 1 , - 5 )

To find - slope of line AB

Solution -

Slope = (y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2) - x_(1)) \\ \\ \dashrightarrow ( -5 - (-4 ))/( 1 - 8 ) \\ \\ \dashrightarrow ( - 5 + 4 )/( 1 - 8 ) \\ \\ \dashrightarrow (-1)/(-7) \\ \\ \dashrightarrow (1)/(7)

Hence ,

Option ( c ) is correct.
