Explanation:

1) X^2 + 2x - 15

2) find two numbers that when its added it gives you +2 and when multiplied it gives you -15. Those numbers are 5 and -3

3) now replace the +2x with 5x-3x

your equation should now look like this

x^2 + 5x -3x -15

4) now group x^2 + 5x and -3x-15

5) find whats in common between the two groups and factor it out

it should look like this x(x+5) and -3(x+5)

and two binomial factors are (x-3) & (x+5)

based off of the options the CORRECT ANSWER IS B) (X-3)!!
