I need help finding two poetic elements to this poem, I'm having trouble finding them or identifying the poem elements, please Help!

Upstream
Carl Sandburg
The strong men keep coming on.
They go down shot, hanged, sick, broken.
They live on fighting, singing, lucky as plungers.
The strong mothers pulling them on..
The strong mothers pulling them from a dark sea, a great prairie, a long mountain.
Call hallelujah, call amen, call deep thanks.
The strong men keep coming on.

Answer:

1) "Call hallelujah, call amen, call deep thanks." - Figurative language (repetition)

2) "a dark sea, a great prairie, a long mountain." - Symbolism of the terrors people face during acts of courage.

Step-by-step explanation:

Poetic elements include voice, diction, imagery, figures of speech, symbolism and allegory, syntax, sound, rhythm and meter, and structure.

Hope this helps!!
