Volume of a cube = side times side times side.

Why?

Since each side of a square is the same, it can simply be the length of one side cubed.

So this shows that the volume of this cube is:

0.5 × 0.5 × 0.5 = 0.125³

And although you said it should not have the units it would be 0.125³m don't forget to add the units!!!!
