In the first picture we can see a Windmill while in the other picture, we can see an example of Amsterdam' extensive canal system.

Windmills were historically used in Amsterdam to pump water out of the low lying areas of the country and dump it into rivers. This helped free up acres of land for agriculture use.

The canals in Amsterdam were built for better water and waste management, as well as defense. Extensive canals have also helped transport water inland into the country for more agricultural activities.

Explanation F:

This is a classic shot of the 'romantic' rural landscape of the country. A single, well maintain windmill, slowly churning around. Next to it, we can see well manicured agriculture land, either for local crops or flowers.
