Tina has an old fish tank in the shape of a circular cylinder. The tank is 2 feet in diameter and 6 feet high. How many cubic feet of water does it hold? Round to the nearest cubic foot.

use the formula v = πR^2H. This is to find the volume of the cylinder.

Radius is half the diameter and you know that the diameter is 2. So half of 2 is 1.

And the height of the cylinder is already given, 6.

enter into a calculator π(1)^2(6) and you get 18.85.

If you round to the nearest cubic foot, 18.85 would then round up to about 19
