Answer: 296

Step-by-step explanation: explicit rule formula for an arithmetic sequence:

a_n = a_1 +(n-1)(d)

20-14= 6

d= 6

a_1 = 8

a_n = 8 + (n-1)(6)

= 8+6n-6

a_n= 6n+2

substitute to find answer:

a_49= 6(49) +2

= 294+2

=296
