Plato Answer:

Some phrases that stand out to me are “not true,” “none of that probably ever happened,” “we need to be more specific,” and “nothing more than an accidental ‘touch’ of zinc.” Based on these phrases, I would describe the author’s diction as straightforward.

According to author, Midas's zinc touch turned out curse from blessing

Step-by-step explanation:

Midas inherited phyrgia kingdom around 700 B.C in Asia minor .

One day, Dionyssus, the god of wine and revelry, passed through the kingdom of Midas. one of his companion a satyr name called silenus got delayed as he thought of taking nap in the rose garden which is in Midas kingdom. Midas identified and took him to spend some days and later when he was taken to dionyssus by Midas and he was promised for having any wish by dionyssus.

Midas due to his greediness wished that whatever he touches should turn to gold. This wish made Midas feel curse as everything including his daughter turned out to gold. Later Midas prayed to dionyssus and got off from that wish and lived happily.
