Answer:

2/6th or 1/3rd of the pie

Explanation:

Subtract 2/6 from 2/3: convert 2/3 to 4/6. Then 4/6 less 2/6 is 2/6.

Matt ate 2/6th, or 1/3rd, more pie than did his mother.
