Explanation:
"Solutions" in this case have the same numeric values as do "x-intercepts."
If x = -4 is a "solution" of this quadratic equation, then (-4, 0) is the corresponding x-intercept. Likewise, if x = 1 is a solution, then (1, 0) is the corresponding x-intercept.
