The width is 10 ft and the length is 20 ft

Explanation:

w = width

l = 2w

A = l*w

200 = lw

= (2w) *w

200 = 2w^2

Divide each side by 2

200/2 = 2w^2 /2

100 = w^2

Take the square root of each side

sqrt(100) = sqrt( w^2)

10 = w

l =2w = 2(10) = 20

The width is 10 ft and the length is 20 ft
