Answer:

We got the line of Equation with given condition is

slope(m) = 0.23,\ & intercept (c)= 3.72.

Explanation:

Given that,

An Equation of line
y=0.23x\ + 6.72.

From the Question,

y=0.23x\ + 6.72 .........................(1)

It is a line of Equation of slope intercept form :
y=mx\ + c

m → slope of line

c → intercept on y-axis.

So, From equation (1) we get

slope (m)= 0.23\\intercept \ on\ y-axis (c) = 6.72

Now, When y-value in the data set is increased by
3 we find,

Then Forming An equation of line with give situation:-

y+3=0.23x+6.72

y=0.23x+6.72-3

y=0.23x+3.72

Hence,

We got the line of Equation with given condition is

slope(m) = 0.23,\ & intercept (c)= 3.72.
