The interchange is shaped like a circle and vehicle travels on its periphery.

Moreover, it is to take into consideration that vehicle needs to travel the only 2/3rd of the periphery since BC distance is not to be covered by the vehicle.

The complete angle of a circle is 360 degrees and out of that 120 degrees is not to be covered. Hence the portion that needs to be covered= 240 degrees of 360 degrees= 2/3rd

We see that radius of the interchange is provided as 430 feet

Circumference of the circle (complete)= 2*3.14*430= 2700.4 feet

The actual distance that needs to be covered= 2/3*2700.4= 1800.267 feet

Rounding off to nearest hundred, the vehicle needs to travel 1800 feet
