Check 9,15,12 we can see the largest possible common factor is 3
Check x^4 , x^3 , x we can see the largest possible common factor is x
Therefore : the answer is
3x( 3x^3+ 5x^2 - 4)

Answer:

  • \bold{3x\left(3x^3+5x^2-4\right)}

Factor the following

\hookrightarrow \sf 9x^4+15x^3-12x

rewrite the following

\hookrightarrow \sf 3\cdot \:3x^3x+3\cdot \:5x^2x-3\cdot \:4x

factor out the common term 3(x)

\hookrightarrow \sf 3x\left(3x^3+5x^2-4\right)

check for answer through multiplication

\dashrightarrow \sf 3x\left(3x^3+5x^2-4\right)

\dashrightarrow \sf 3x\left(3x^3)+3x(5x^2)+3x(-4)

\sf \dashrightarrow 9x^4+15x^3-12x
