Find f( - 3) × g(4), for f(x) = x^ - 3 and g(x) = x^½ .

Explanation:

Find f( - 3) × g(4),

for f(x) = x^ - 3

f(-3) = -3^ - 3= -3 × -3 × -3= -27

and g(x) = x^½

g(4) = 4^½ = 2^2^½ = 2 ^1 = 2

f( - 3) × g(4) = -27 ×2 = -54
