In our case we chose safety car mechanisms, however, they can apply to almost anything. One benefit would be that the testers would safe on research and development expenses by pursuing computer model tests, instead of a test in real life because they would damage cars. However, one drawback is that they could be wrong in a line of code and have an unrealistic test.
