Answer:

Henry's squash is sweeter

Explanation:

Ratios

In order to find out which persons squash is sweeter , you have to realize that the higher the percentage of squash to water means that it is sweeter.

Henry

ratio of squash to water is 7 : 4

finding the percentage of squash

7 + 4 = 11 , this is the denominator

NOTE : to get the percentage , multiply the fraction by 100

= 7 / 11 * 100

= 63.6 %

Paul

ratio of squash to water is 8 : 5

finding the percentage of squash

8 + 5 = 13 , this is the denominator

NOTE : to get the percentage , multiply the fraction by 100

= 8/13 * 100

=61.5 %

Henry percentage of squash is 63.6 % while Paul's percentage of squash is 61.5%. hence the one with the greater percentage is Henry

The answer is : Henry's squash is sweeter
