To celebrate ratios, Mrs. Johnson’s class will make pizzas. Julio is in charge of bringing in the sauce. There are 30 students in his class and each pizza serves 8.

Actually, Jullo can chose any number of cups of pizza sauce. The number of sauce cups is not a problem.

But as the cups of pizza sauce are linked with number of pizza in the co-ordinate points A (3, 2), B (4, 2.6), C (4.5, 3), D (6, 4), the problem lies in choosing the correct set.

The number of pizza taken must be sufficient for all the 30 students.

As each pizza serves 8 students,

number of pizzas required for 30 students = = 3.75 pizzas.

Here there are 3 points which are having more than 3.75 pizzas. They are B (4, 2.6), C (4.5, 3), D (6, 4).

Now Jullo has to choose the best point among these 3 to get maximum number of pizza cups.

The point which has more sauce cups for each pizza is the best point.

Point B (4, 2.6) sauce cups for each pizza = = 1.538 sauce cups for each pizza.
