As per given information:

Figure A represents Figure B at scale. A scale factor of 7 is used to map figure A to figure B.

Figure A has sides that are x units long, while Figure B has sides that are 12 units long.

If figure A maps to figure B with a scale factor of p, then


(Length \:of\: side \:of\: figure\: A )/(Length\: of\: side \:of \:figure \:B)=p

Since figure A is scale image of figure B,


(12x)/(7) = (2)/(7)


x = (7)/(2) * 12

After dividing 12 by 2 we get
