Answer:

Points for x where Eq. 1 = Eq. 2 can be found by equating the two functions and then solving for x.

For Eq. 1, do you mean Y = | (1/4)x | ?

| (1/4)x | = | -x - 3 |

(1/4) | x | = (-x - 3) or -(-x - 3)

x = (-4x - 12) or (4x + 12)

5x = -12 or -3x = 12

x = -12/5 or x = -4
