Eight divided by seven subtracted from nine.

9 - ( 8 / 7 )

= 9 - 1.14

= 7.86 = 8

this the equation. 9-8÷7 FIRST you must divide and 8÷7 equals a really long number so you can just put this numbers as a fraction to look like this 8/7 so now the rewritten equation is, 9-8/7 now you must solve this and you can do this by putting a 1 below the 9 in the expression and having common denominators so the first step would look like this , 9/1-8/7 yo then find the common denominator you must multiply both the numerator and denominator of the fraction,9/1, by 7 to do this is would look like so, 9/1×7/7 which equals 63/7. now that we have common denominators you will have to solve regularly like this, 63/7-8/7= 55/7
