Answer:

Explanation:

Equation of a line is given as

y=mx+c

Where,

m is the slope of the graph

c is the intercept on y axis at x=0

So, from the graph given

At x=0, y=-5

Then, inserting this into equation of a line

y=mx+c

-5=m×0+c

Then, -5=0+c

c=-5

Also, at y=0, x=2

Inserting into equation of a line

y=mx+c. , since c=-5

0=2m-5.

2m=5

Then, m=5/2

So the equation of the line becomes

y=mx+c. , m=5/2 and c=-5

y=5x/2 - 5

Multiply through by 2

2y = 5x - 10.

This is the required equation of the line.
