Answer: Width = 26, Length = 22

Explanation:

p = 2L + 2W

W = L + 4

96= 2L + 2W

96 = 2L + 2(L+4)

96 = 2L + 2L + 8

96 = 4L + 8

96 - 8 = 4L

88 = 4L

L =
(88)/(4)

L = 22

now to find the width, you plug it back into the W = L + 4 equation

width:

W = L + 4

W= 22 + 4

W=26
