The following four principles were created to get rid of suffering:

  • The truth of suffering (Dukkha)
  • The truth of the origin of suffering (Samudaya)
  • The truth of the cessation of suffering (Nirodha)
  • The truth of the path to the cessation of suffering (Magga).

Step-by-step explanation:

Four noble principles of Buddha are Dukkha, Samudaya, Nirodha and Magga. Besides five basic rules are: avoid over indulgence, don't kill any living creature, stay aside from sexual assault, don't lie, don't gossip. Suffering is the truth of life caused due to attachment. At a time suffering will end and for that there is a path to get rid off sufferings.

Good and right things bring rewards and its free from sufferings. Bad and wrong things bring punishment which extends the period of sufferings.
