Answer:

4x+y

Explanation:

I don't know if this is right, but 3x and x are like terms so you can combine them. You have 3 and 1 which if you add them you get 4. You keep the y the same to get 4x + y.

Just add like terms

3x + x + y = (3x + x) + y = 4x + y
