Lets turn both into fractions.

Jeremiah's test score: 8/10

Mariah's test score: 36/40

Find common denominators.

8/10

36/40 → 18/20 → 9/10

Determine which score is great using an inequality.

8/10 < 9/10

Therefore, Mariah got the greater fractions of problems correct.

Best of Luck!
