Solve the following system of equations. Record your answer as an ordered triple. Don't forget to include the parentheses in your answer.

x- 4y+ 3z= -2
2x- y+ 4z= -22
3x- 3y+ 4z= -17

Answer:

X=-3, y=-4, z=-5

Explanation:

X-4y+3z=-2......(1)

2x-y+4z=-22....(2)

3x-3y+4z=-17.....(3)

-2(1)+(2) and -3(1)+(3) we get:

7y-2z=-18....(4)

9y-5z=-11.....(5)

Now 5(4)-2(5) we get:

17y=-68 so

y=-4

Put y=-4 in (4) we have:

-28-2z=-18, then 2z=-10, so we have:

z=-5

Now put y=-4 and z=-5 in (1) we get:

x+16-15=-2, then

X=-3
