Differentiation of
y = (2V)/(r) with respect to r is
(dy)/(dr) =((-2V)/(r^(2)) ).

Explanation:

We have the following equation:

y=2V/r or
y = (2V)/(r) , we need to differentiate y with respect r , We know a formula of Differentiation that

\frac {d} {dx} x^n = n x^n ^-^1

(d((1)/(r) ))/(r) = (d)/(d(r)) ((1)/(r) ) = (-1)/(r^(2)) i.e. differentiation of
(1)/(r) is
(-1)/(r^(2)) .

Now , let's solve this :

y = (2V)/(r)

(dy)/(dr) = (dy)/(dr) ((2V)/(r))

(dy)/(dr) =2V (dy)/(dr) ((1)/(r))

(dy)/(dr) =2V ((-1)/(r^(2)) )

(dy)/(dr) =((-2V)/(r^(2)) )

Differentiation of
y = (2V)/(r) with respect to r is
(dy)/(dr) =((-2V)/(r^(2)) ).
