1. Generalized reciprocity: This is a way of giving someone a gift without expecting immediate return from the person.

2. Balanced Reciprocity: Gift is giving with immediate expectation of return from the person.

3. Negative Reciprocity: This happen when you expect someone to give something he or she is not ready to give.

Generalized reciprocity: when any of my friends do shopping together and i paid so next time we do shopping again i do not expect him to pay the bill for me.

Balanced Reciprocity: In my own family, every member must buy at least a gift and a tally with name will be picked by members then you exchange your gift with the person.

Negative Reciprocity: I bought a new Laptop for $230 and after six month, i seriously need money for an important project, they offered $180.
