Of the last 60 people who went to the cash register at a department​ store, 10 had blond​ hair, 13 had black​ hair, 32 had brown​ hair, and 5 had red hair. Determine the empirical probability that the next person to come to the cash register has black hair.

the probability for a person with black hair to show up is 1/4

Explanation:

if there is 13 black hair people

and a total of 60 people who went to the cash register, the other 47 of the people were different colored hair.

its 1/4 because:

there are FOUR types of hair colors: red, blonde, black, and brown

if its 4 types and they are asking to see about what the chances of getting another black hair person to the cash register, then its 1/4
