1. The poll is most likely biased because it is at a basketball game, and you wouldn't be at a basketball game if you didn't like basketball. If they were to do this at a different sporting event, the answer would probably be different so I think it is biased. The other method they could've done is to ask the entire school.

2. How to calculate the mean: It is the sum divided by the count, so add up all the numbers then divide by how many numbers there are.

For City A: {3, 2.5, 4, 4.5, 3, 1}, all these numbers equal 18, and there are six numbers, so 18/6=3. Now do the same thing for the other city, also the MAD is 0.83333333333333.

For City B: {6, 4, 1.5, 3.5, 2, 4}, the answer is 21/6=3.5, and the MAD is 1.1666666666667.

To calculate the median for each city, just find the number in the middle. So the median of City A is four, and 1.5 is the median of City B.
