145(2)/(3)\ yards = (437)/(3)\ yards

Convert yards to feet

1 yard = 3 foot

Therefore,


(437)/(3)\ yards = (437)/(3)\ * 3= 437\ foot

How many feet of fencing were used to create the barrier

1 side = 437 foot

8 sides = 8 x 437 = 3496 feet

Thus 3496 feet of fencing were used to create the barrier
