Since a postcard is a rectangle, there are going to be two sides of equal length and two other sides of equal length. Knowing that the area is 30 inches, area= length x width, that means that you can find factors of 30. For example, if you were to try 5 and 6 as the length and width, you would add 5+5+6+6. Which is 22. The length of the postcard is 6 inches and the height is 5 inches. 5x6.
