Perimeter of a rectangle= 2(Length+Width)


40=2(W+6+W)\\ 40= 4W+12\\ 4W=40-12\\ W=28/4\\ W=7


Length= 7+6=13

Area of a rectangle=


Length* Width\\ =13*7\\ = 91 square yards
