Stress is a natural part of life, so there really is no way to prevent it. Anything can cause stress whether it's real or imagined. When you perceive something to be dangerous, difficult, or painful your body automatically begins a stress response. Ways you can react to stress are what's important.

  1. Positive Reactions to Stress
  • Can motivate you and inspire you to work harder

2. Negative Reactions to Stress

  • Can cause you to feel distracted, overwhelmed, impatient, frustrated, or even angry

To relieve your stress, identify your true feelings and the source of the stress. Don't let your emotions bottle up. Find a positive way to express yourself, for example, you could keep a journal.
