If Jerry can bicycle 6 1/2 miles in 1/3 of an hour, how far can he bicycle in one hour at that speed?

Explanation:

We know that Jerry can bicycle 6 and 1/2 mile in 1/3 of an hour.

We also know that 1/3+1/3+1/3= 1

That means that 3 times the amount of time it takes him in 1/3 of an hour will be the amount of time it takes him in 1 whole hour.
