A pool of volumeJ(in m3) is to be filled with water using a hose of diameterD(in m). If the averagedischarge velocity isV(in m/s) and the filling time ist(in s), obtain a relation for the volume of the pool based on considerations of quantities involved/

Answer:volume j(m³)= t/πd²xV

Explanation:The basic equation for resolving average discharge is Q=AV, where Q is discharge, V is velocity and A is the area.

Recall that Q=vt. Where Q= quantity, v= velocity and t= time. So, the outcome of volume j(m³)= t/Q, since Q= av we say;

j(m³)= t/πd²/4xV.

NB: Volume of a circle is πr² but we are given diameter so, r=d/2 that is how we come from πr² to πd²/4.
