Simple greeting
In Spanish, they're many ways to greet someone you could say it the simple way: Hola=hello or que tal= what's up! which is mostly used with friends or family
For a full sentence, you can say Hola Como Estas? = hello, how are you?
for a more formal situation.
Greeting throughout the day
In the mornings we say Buenos dias which translates to good morning or good day. In the afternoon we say Buenas tardes= good afternoon.
When it's the evening or later we say Buenas Noches.
