So, speed of the train = 20km/60min.

$\rightarrow$ Distance covered by train in 1min.

$\sf\large\underline{Solution:-}$

Let the distance covered by train in 1 min be
$\sf{x}$ m.

So, if train covers 20 km in 60min then it covers
$\sf{x}$ m in 1 min.

It can be written as,

$\rightarrow$
$\sf{(20)/(60)}$
$\sf{=(x)/(1)}$ (by cross multiplication)

$\rightarrow$
$\sf{20\: = \: 60x}$

$\rightarrow$
$\sf{(20)/(60)= x}$

$\rightarrow$
$\sf{(1)/(3)= x}$

$\rightarrow$
$\sf{0.33= x}$ (approx)

Therefore, distance covered by train in 1 min= 0.33km (approx).
