Answer:

The area of a cicle is
64\pi square units

Area of a circle
A=64\pi square units in terms of
\pi

Explanation:

Given that the diameter of a circle is 16

That is d=16

Therefore radius
r=(d)/(2)

r=(16)/(2)

=8

Therefore radius r=8

Now to find the area of a circle :

Area of a circle
A=\pi r^2 square units

Substitute r=8 we get

Area of a circle
A=\pi 8^2

=64\pi

Therefore the area of a cicle is
64\pisquare units

Area of a circle
A=64\pisquare units in terms of
\pi
