Answer:

- 2⁻⁶

Explanation:

To simplify this we have to know the following rules.

(i) (xᵃ)ᵇ = xᵃᵇ

(ii) 1/xᵃ = x⁻ᵃ

Given:
$ (-1)/(64) $

=
$ (-1)/(4^3) $

=
$ (-1)/((2^2)^3) $

=
$ (-1)/(2^6) \hspace{10mm} $ [using (i)]

=
$ 2^(-6) $ [using (ii)]

Hence, the simplified form would be:
$ 2^(-6) $
