Answer:

Hubris depicts a character nature of outrageous or absurd pride or hazardous arrogance. It commonly depicts conduct that resists the standards of nature. In Literature, a Hubris character overestimates his abilities to such a degree, that he loses contact with the real world. Examples of Hubris in Literature are Sophocles' Oedipus Rex, John Milton's Paradise Lost, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus, etc.
