When 4 movie tickets are purchased, the fourth ticket is sold at a discount of 60%. Write an expression for the cost of 4 tickets. (Show your work)

Let x = price of the first 3 tickets each

Price of fourth ticket
= 60% of x
= 60/100 * x
= 0.6x

Cost of 4 tickets
= x + x + x + 0.6x
=3x + 0.6x
= 3.6x
