The area of circle is 0.38465 square meter

Solution:

The circumference of a circle is 2.2 m

We have to find the area of circle

Let us first find the radius of circle

The circumference of circle is given as:

C = 2 \pi r

Where, "C" is the circumference of circle

"r" is the radius of circle

\pi is a constant equal to 3.14

Substitute c = 2.2 in above formula

2.2 = 2 * 3.14 * r\\\\2.2 = 6.28r\\\\r = (2.2)/(6.28)\\\\r = 0.35

Thus radius of circle is 0.35 meter

The area of circle is given as:

area = \pi r^2

Substitute r = 0.35

area = 3.14 * 0.35^2\\\\area = 3.14 * 0.1225\\\\area = 0.38465

Thus area of circle is 0.38465 square meter
