Weather is the short-term atmospheric condition of a place. For example, the weather for today is rainy. Climate is how the atmospheric condition that a region has overall. For example, Florida's climate is hot and sunny because that's the overall condition its atmosphere has over time. You can't say "the climate in Florida for today is rainy" because Florida's climate isn't rainy.
