Answer:

The ratio of boys to girls is

(4)/(5):(3)/(5)

Explanation:

In a class the total number of boys and girls are 25

Total of boys are 20 and total of girls are 15

Let x be the number of boys and y be the number of girls

Given x=20 and its ratio is

x=(20)/(25)

x=(4)/(5)

and y=15 and its ratio is

y=(15)/(25)

y=(3)/(5)

Therefore the ratio of boys to girls is

x:y

(4)/(5):(3)/(5) or

4:3
