I don’t understand how to graph it or how to get the slope intercept please give answers

Through (-1,4), (1,-2) I don’t understand how to graph it or how to get the slope-example-1

slope intercept form: y=mx + b. therefore you would do (y2-y1) over (x2-x1). slope would be -3 for slope. to find b you have to plug in the slope to the equation with a point that’s given. 4=-3(-1)x + b. b=1. y=-3x + 1. to graph start at (1,0) then everytime go up 3. hope this helps
