Total marbles: 8 + 16 + 14 + 10 = 48

Marbles that are not white: 48 - 16 = 32

Probability it will not be white: 32/48 = 2/3

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation: 2/3

The probability that it will not be white is the same as 1 - probability that it is white. That is

P(not w) = 1 - P(w)

P(w) = number of white / total number

P(w) = 16/48

P(w) = 1/3

Therefore :

P( not w ) = 1 - 1/3

P( not w ) = 2/3

Therefore , the probability that the marble drawn will not be white = 2/3
